Starting a new job or on the lookout – why not improve your community relations skills and enhance your employability?

The Ulster People’s College is offering a free two day course entitled “Understanding Community Relations” designed to allow you to improve your community relations skills and knowledge.

The course offers participants the opportunity to explore the shared and separate issues that affect different communities in Northern Ireland.  Participants will also explore the roles and remits of organisations involved in community relations work.   They will learn how to plan and write a proposal for a piece of community relations work which could be undertaken within their community or group.

The course is suitable for anyone interested in discussing community relations issues or for community workers.

The next course will take place on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 August between 10am and 4pm at the Ulster People’s College, 1 Lower Crescent, Belfast.
