The Ulster People's College is offering a free 3 day course in Community Group Work Skills which is accredited by the Open College Network. 

The course will take place on Tuesday 7, 14 & 21 August between 10am and 4pm at the Ulster People's College, 1 Lower Crescent, Belfast.

A variety of topics will be covered:

• the definition of facilitation

• managing groups

• understanding group dynamics

• facilitating group exercises

• understanding what motivates people to join community groups &

• understanding how groups become inclusive or exclusive.

The course is suitable for anyone who works with groups in a paid or non-paid capacity or who is interested in working with groups and no previous experience is required.
