The UPC as part of the People’s History Initiative is running a series of lectures focusing on key historical events which Initiative participants wanted to look at in greater detail.

The second lecture in the series, by Historian and Lecturer Dr Peter Collins, focused on ‘Nationalism, Unionism and Home Rule: 1855 – 1914’.

The lecture was attended by a variety of People’s History Initiative participants including members of the Abolition of Slavery Study Project, Cliftonville Regeneration Forum, Falls Women’s Centre, Footprints Women’s Centre, Greenisland Library and Rathcoole Library.
