Who is this course for:
This course suits a range of women’s groups and interested individuals.  It is a beneficial course for women who are involved, or who are hoping to become involved, in community activities or who have been out of the workforce for a while and would like to improve their confidence.

Outline of course content: 
Groups can choose from at least one of the following units:
• Women and Communication
• Women and Leadership
• Women and Organisations

Course aims:  
The course offers women the opportunity to explore their own leadership potential and feel more confident about taking on leadership roles.   It also aims to help women explore the balance of power in our society in relation to gender. 

Possible progression routes: 
At the end of the course participants will be offered the opportunity to explore what UPC programmes would be of interest to them.
